This is Kiohri Thomas

I'm so sorry for the demons I'm about to release /lh
Kiohri Thomas is without a doubt the single biggest positive change art has brought into my life, my therapists (plural) and my psychiatrist (singular) know about this fictional character- I have a keychain, I have a statuette, I painted my entire bedroom purple, I have spent at least $300 USD, I have done an entire livestreamed powerpoint presentation. I simply cannot put into words how much this little goofball means to me

How do I leave, I don't know who this is
(In all seriousness: I haven't implemented the return button- just go back on your browser) PLEASE I JUST WANT TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT MY BABY
Some mildly insane things I've done in the name of this character
- Over 160 pieces of art as of may 2025
- Multiple physical goods custom ordered
- Currently planning a themed picnic for their fifth anniversary
- Again, an entire powerpoint presentation live
- This entire webpage was fully written out before I even finished the bases of my actual website.
THE LORE.
Over the course of four years I've written over 10k words of evolving lore for Kiohri- from their first day in my hands up to today. So a TLDR of their backstory is... Difficult, but let me try! Kiohri didn't originally have a name, they've existed for centuries- back before the great colission ever happened. (TLDR: Three smaller worlds crash, one big weird world is the result. A lot of war, very bad.) They were never supposed to be in the fold of the world they were born in, and as a result faced discrimination. Tragedy plagued them (avoided for potential triggering content) until they were pushed to make a deal with the dying first god in order to survive- becoming the first grim reaper and in theory the last remnant of the first god. They spent centuries guiding the souls of those who passed in times of high stress and emotion, looking to ease the pain of anyone they could. It was one man they saved hundreds of years later they couldn't seem to forget- or stop running into. The man never remembered their first meeting, but the two became close as friends anyhow. Kiohri found themself getting closer and closer to him until they were inseperable, partners for life. It was for him that Kiohri gave up their immortality- to raise a family and finally let go of the past and instead look forward to the future and make a better life for their children in the now kinder world. Now, they own a tailors shop and live with the love of their life, Theo- alongside their four kids (Lillie, Ilea, Setev and Quevi.)

If you happen to want it Here's their entire 160+ image gallery???
Below I'm going to be mildly insufferable and just share some of my favorite pieces of art I've ever received of Kiohri, be it commissions- event gifts- what say you. And then a wishlist of things I'd like to do with Kiohri while I have them!!!

Sophaaa's sleepy Kiohri art
This is the first ever piece of external art I got of Kiohri, the moment I got them I started trading other ocs for more art- and Sophaaa did the VERY FIRST outside art of them, so this piece will always hold a really special place in my heart. I'd love to commission Sophaaa again someday, given the chance!
If you're interested in Sophaaa's work, you can check them out here!
Your trivia of the day: This is also the first piece of Kiohri art with visible eyes! That's why their eyes look different to their modern counterpart- that hadn't been decided quite yet! lol

Zaycu's original design
Aka the beginning of the end
Imagine being Zaycu, a then early 20's artist. You have been trying to sell an adoptable for a full year, early on a 15 year old draws some freebie art for the buyer- you don't think much about it. After that year of waiting you finally resort to taking art offers. You get one offer- then a 16 year old crashes in through your window with five dollars and some art. This is the same kid who drew that art for the buyer... You agree to the trade, the art is done within the day, the money sent with it. For the next five years you are going to watch as this design you struggled to sell for a year becomes the financial bane of this person's life. You are going to watch them get multiple physical items, write 10k words of fiction, develop an entire family history, and you will be powerless to stop it. You will be repeatedly commissioned to draw this character again in new incarnations, and now you will watch as an entire history page on this fictional character is published to the world wide web. You are powerless to stop it
Anyway if you'd like to check out Zaycu, you can do so here!
Anna's mask art
One of the first gift pieces I got of Kiohri, back when their design still featured this mask! I can't actually credit Anna, because they're a passing stranger to me. I was so happy to have Kiohri, posting art non-stop and gushing about them- and I guess it caught their attention in an old server of Zaycu's! They drew me this art despite us never even really talking before, and that began a tradition I've found mind-boggling-- friends and acquaintences drawing Kiohri art as gifts for their anniversary (Seeing as I celebrate it...) which continues to absolutely blow my mind and make me so very happy ;;!! I'm grateful for every single piece of fanart and gift art I get of Kiohri, and it genuinely makes my day brighter. So I'll use this as an opportunity to once again broadly thank EVERYONE who draws my kiddo, because you don't know just how happy it makes me.
Other favorites!
Here I'm just going to... Mass unload all the stuff I find coolest of Kiohri- cool? Cool!
